Education in Tanzania

Dodoma is one of only seven schools for deaf students in a country with about 700,000 people with hearing loss. Your support buys books, mosquito nets and mattresses; expands a gardening project to teach agriculture and provide nutritious meals; and furnishes a light-call system to signal the start of each class. Students and their parents will receive training in sign language.
