I am delighted to be serving with MCC's (Mennonite Central Committee) SALT (Serving & Learning Together) Program in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa with the upcoming 2018-19 cohort. I will be working as a Communications Assistant at Sinomlando Centre, which means "We Have a History" in the Zulu language, at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. I will be contributing to various projects focused on Oral History and Memory Work to help us understand our shared history. I am hoping to contribute my skills and passion for storytelling, documentation and communications to further Sinomlando and MCC's mission.

I would like to invite you to venture with me whether that is financially through donations (Click on the link below), through prayer, letter writing, or other means of support throughout next year. I am looking forward to the coming months as I prepare myself to serve, learn and to express what it means to be a peace builder locally and globally.
