I am excited about the opportunity to serve with the Mennonite church of La Prairie which addresses issues of social justice, refugee hospitality, and community bridge building!

I chose to become a social worker because I am a compassionate, hopeful person who believes that social change is possible. I see clearly throughout scripture how God calls us to seek justice for the poor and oppressed. I want to model my life after Jesus, loving those on the margins and living in a way that is counter-cultural. My heart breaks for the inequalities and injustices that I see around me but it also motivates me to take action and work for change. I see this partnership with MCC as an exciting and challenging opportunity to live out my faith and work for justice and inclusion.

Please consider supporting me financially in this service opportunity.
