This fund exists to promote conversations and activities in support of the relationship between the Young Chippewayan Band, Lutherans and Mennonites.  This relationship has emerged in response to a historic injustice around a land claim near Laird, SK.   In May of 1897 Reserve #107  was taken from the Young Chippewayan Band by the Federal Government and made available to Mennnonite and Lutheran settlers.  Read more and watch a video about the history and the work that the Young Chippewayan Band, Mennonites, and Lutherans are doing to resolve this outstanding land claim.
